A Simple Guide to At Home Communion

• Find the Communion elements:

  • The Bread(Representing Christ’s body)

  • Wine/Juice (Representing Christ’s blood)

• Search yourself for unconfessed sin
  (1 Corinthians 11:23-30).

• Confess your sin to God (1 John 1:9).

• Seek reconciliation if there is unresolved conflict in your life. (Matthew 5:23).

• Reflect on all that Jesus has done to pay the penalty for sin (1 Corinthians 11:23-30).

  • Read Matthew 26:26-28 
    or 1 Corinthians 11:23-30.

  • Reflect with worship music and prayer.

  • Let the Holy Spirit lead you.

• Eat The Bread Remembering Jesus’ body that was broken for you.

• Drink the Wine/Juice Remembering Jesus’ blood that was poured out for our sins.

  • Continue in prayer as the Holy Spirit leads

• Thank God for the body and blood of Jesus that was shed for us (1 Thessalonians 5:18).
