who we are

The Bridge Church exists to connect people to Jesus daily. We are a home to the lost, those seeking discipleship and everyone in between. We walk unified under the name of Jesus, who we seek to make famous.

The bridge code

We are led by the Word of God

The Bible is God's love letter to us. Every word of the Bible is written to guide our hearts toward the life God has called us to.

We are led by faith not by sight

It is impossible to please God without faith. We trust God and believe in taking risk for the sake of the Gospel.

We meet people where they are

Jesus pursued us, so we look to help people where they are. We believe you can belong before you believe.

We are called to make disciples

This is what it is all about! God has commissioned us to walk with people daily, announce our relationship through baptism, teach how to walk with God, and Jesus reminds us that He is with us.

We lead by serving

If you're too big to serve then you are too small to lead. We believe the greatest leadership is service to others. Every leader is a servant first. From the parking lot to the pulpit, everyone serves. Every role is different but they are all important.

We are generous with our time, talents, and resources

Generosity is about giving more than what is required. We see generosity as a privilege. We're generous with our time, talents and resources. We go first in our giving. God has given richly towards us, it's our honor to give back to Him.

We respond in prayer

Prayer invites God's power into our daily life. Whatever we are facing and wherever we are, we respond in prayer.

We live with passion in everything we do to glorify His name

Everything we do, we do it with passion. From our worship to our service we do it with Holy Spirit energy. Passion drives us. Passion for Jesus. Passion for people. Passion for His church.

What We Believe

We believe in one God who eternally exists in three distinct persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God. God the Father is the Creator and Ruler of the Universe. We believe that He is limitless in power, knowledge, wisdom, love, and holiness. We also believe that He has revealed himself as the Father of the redeemed.
Genesis 1:1Genesis 26Genesis 27Genesis 3:22Psalms 90:2Matthew 28:191 Peter 1:22 Corinthians 13:14

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is the second person of the Trinity and is co-equal with the Father. Jesus was born of a virgin, lived a sinless human life and offered himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all men by dying on a cross. He rose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heavens glory where he sits at the right hand of the Father. He will return again to earth to reign as King of Kings, and Lord of Lords.
Matthew 1:22Matthew 23Isaiah 9:6John 1:1-5John 14:10-30Hebrews 4:14Hebrews 151 Corinthians 15:31 Corinthians 4Romans 1:3Romans 4Acts 1:9-111 Timothy 6:141 Timothy 15Titus 2:13

He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. The Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son of God. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. He gives every believer a spiritual gift when they are saved. As Christians we seek to live under His control daily.
2 Corinthians 3:17John 16:7-13John 14:16John 17Act 1:81 Corinthians 2:121 Corinthians 3:16Ephesians 1:13Galatians 5:25Ephesians 5:18

The Bible is God’s Word to all people. It was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. Because it is inspired by God, it is the truth without any mixture of error.
2 Timothy 3:162 Peter 1:202 Peter 212 Timothy 1:13Psalms 119:105Psalms 160Psalms 12:6Proverbs 30:5

We believe that man was created in the image of God to have fellowship with Him, but became alienated from that relationship through sinful disobedience. As a result, man is totally incapable of coming back into a right relationship with God by his own effort.
Genesis 1:27Psalms 8:3-6Isaiah 53:6aRomans 3:23Isaiah 59:1Isaiah 2

We believe that salvation is a gift of God to man. Man can never make up for sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can man be saved from sin’s penalty. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith.
Romans 6:23Ephesians 2:8Ephesians 9John 3:16John 14:6John 1:12Titus 3:5Galatians 3:26Romans 5:1

We believe that God gives us eternal life through Jesus Christ, therefore the true believer is secure in that salvation for eternity. If you have been genuinely saved, you cannot “lose” it. Salvation is maintained by the grace and power of God, not by the self-effort of the Christian. It is the grace and keeping power of God that gives us this security.
John 10:292 Timothy 1:12Hebrews 7:25Hebrews 10:10Hebrews 14

We believe that people were created to live forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin, or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is to live in Hell. To be eternally in union with Him is eternal life. Heaven and Hell are real places of eternal existence.
